After rumors circulated that they were expecting their first child, Bollywood couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar recently became the subject of much speculation. However, these claims have been dismissed by the couple’s representatives and Farhan’s stepmother, veteran actress Shabana Azmi.

The rumors picked steam after reports began suggesting that Shibani was seen visiting a major hospital in Mumbai. Many started speculating about an imminent announcement. However, addressing the situation, Farhan’s spokesperson clarified that “the news is completely untrue.” Shabana Azmi seconded the claim by saying very firmly, “There’s no truth to it.

They got married in an intimate ceremony in February 2022 and have always been in the public eye for their love and creativity. The speculations were something they never anticipated, especially amidst Farhan’s busy schedule.

On the work front, Farhan is preparing for two big movies. He is going to play the role of Major Shaitan Singh in the war drama 120 Bahadur, directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, which is scheduled for a 2025 release. Besides, Farhan is again coming back as a director with Don 3, which is the long-awaited sequel to the iconic series, with Ranveer Singh playing the lead role along with Kiara Advani.

The star couple recently celebrated Farhan’s birthday at Zoya Akhtar’s home in Mumbai, sharing the day with close friends and family. Farah Khan and Anusha Dandekar were among them. Farhan and Shibani walked hand-in-hand, putting all rumors to rest.
