Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s highly anticipated film Alpha is officially set to release on December 25, 2025. The announcement came with a captivating poster, with the makers captioning it on social media: “On Christmas 2025, #ALPHA will rise! Get ready for an action-packed holiday… 25th Dec 2025.”
The film, directed by Shiv Rawail, marks a significant milestone in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe. Alpha is being touted as the first female-led project within the franchise, and fans are eager to see how the story unfolds. Interestingly, Alpha will share the festive spotlight originally reserved for another Alia Bhatt film Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War. The film, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, was initially slated for a Christmas 2025 release but has since been pushed to March 20, 2026, making way for Alpha to dominate the holiday season.
Sharvari’s Career on the Rise
Sharvari, who will be starring alongside Alia Bhatt, was last seen in the film Vedaa, which also featured John Abraham and Tamannaah. Released on Independence Day 2024, Vedaa had to face stiff competition at the box office, clashing with Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein. Despite the competition, Sharvari’s performance stood out, even though the film underperformed, collecting Rs 18.50 crore within 10 days.
