When Heart of Stone landed in my lap, I had the time to dive in. It was an intriguing opportunity much like my experience with RRR,” she explained. “It’s not about ticking off ‘Hollywood’ from a list; it’s about challenging myself and pushing my boundaries.”
But since welcoming baby Raha into the world, Alia revealed that spontaneity is a luxury she can no longer afford. “Now, it’s way tougher to just pack up and leave for three to four months. I can’t just take off without a thought anymore,” she confessed.
Kareena, never one to shy away from a little teasing, chimed in with a playful suggestion that Alia’s husband, Ranbir Kapoor, would gladly play the role of the stay-at-home dad while she chases Hollywood dreams. “He’s totally obsessed with Raha,” Kareena joked, sparking a fit of laughter from Alia.
Alia smiled at the thought but made it clear that her decisions are more nuanced than simply switching parenting roles. “It’s not just about convenience; it’s about the right story and the right timing. I can’t say yes to something just because it sounds good at the moment,” she clarified.
