Actress Ananya Panday of Call Me Bae recently revealed a typical secret wish that many women have when it comes to dealing with an ex. Actress Ananya Panday, of Call Me Bae, handles her ex-boyfriend similarly to a lot of other people. She is currently working nonstop on her OTT series, which will debut on September 6, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video. Recently, someone asked Panday if she had ever flushed a picture of her ex. Her reaction, which included destroying the picture and preserving an old box that was inspired by American TV star Kourtney Kardashian, is indicative of a widespread secret yearning shared by many women.
When asked if she had ever flushed a picture of her ex in an interview with Fever FM, Panday smiled and said, “No, I’ve burned it, not flushed it.” Should it become stuck? That calamity would be more severe. In response, she said, “Yes, I had an ex-box with some things and memories,” when asked if she had preserved any souvenirs from an ex. I believe Kourtney Kardashian carried out a similar action; she had an old box full of goods.
In the film’s trailer, Ananya’s character Bae, who comes from a wealthy and opulent background, is introduced. But she is forced to start over when her affluent lifestyle ends. After relocating to Mumbai, Bae gets employment as a journalist. Her quest for self-awareness has brought her into contact with Varun Sood and Vir Das. There’s also a funny homage to Siddhant Chaturvedi in the teaser.
“I’m the one struggling, brother,” says Ananya’s character to a security guard in one scene. The guard replies, “Aapki majburi jahan shuru hoti hai, wahan tak pahunchna hi toh humara sapna hai” (Reaching the point where your struggle begins is our dream).
Ishita Moitra is the creator of the series Call Me Bae, which Collin D’Cunha is the director of. Along with Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Mustkkkaan Jaferi, Vihaan Samat, Lisa Mishra, Niharika Lyra Dutt, and Mini Mathur, Ananya Panday is a cast member of the show. Ishita Moitra, Rohit Nair, and Samina Motlekar wrote the script. The series is produced by Somen Mishra, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar under the auspices of Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
