Avinash shared a report on X, predicting that Laila Majnu will surpass the film’s initial box office run in just four days. He wrote, “Thank you for all the love,” in the caption. I’ve always thought that a substantial percentage of the audience remains silent, but Jo nahi bolte,Woh jab Bolte hain toh Kya Kamaal Bolte hain (Those who remain silent, speak out the loudest when the time is right)! Laila Majnu made ₹30 lakh on her first day of business, but the next day she made ₹70 lakh, a massive 110% rise in revenue. ₹1.00 crore was collected over the course of two days. Increased pre-sales indicate that collections will increase even more by end of the week.
Avinash stated, “Laila Majnu didn’t get a chance to grow and was just taken off when it was released,” in an interview with Hindustan Times. I was therefore hurt by it, and I only wanted enough room for it to develop. However, there are times when I feel like they should have showed more love when it was first launched, and then I realize that good work does in fact touch people. If nothing else, receiving affection from others at least aids in healing. Thus, I believe my wound has mostly healed.
