Both Hindi films, ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ and ‘Ulajh’, are facing a dry first week due to a lack of positive audience response. The real test for any film begins on Monday, but there seems no hope for the two films ahead. If they had received good word-of-mouth, they would have enjoyed a smooth 10-day run without fierce competition before the big Independence Day releases.
On the other hand ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has dominated the northern market, collecting Rs 19.75 crore in its second weekend and a total of Rs 109.65 crore in India. Bollywood’s box office is expected to see a solid comeback with ‘Stree 2’, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, while ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ continues to fill the theatres.
