Fans of Singham Again who were hoping for a stunning crossover between Bajirao Singham and Chulbul Pandey will probably be disappointed because 2024’s greatest moment has been stolen by fate. Salman Khan was scheduled to film his Singham Again cameo on Monday, October 14, 2024; however, due to Baba Siddiqui’s passing, the shoot was postponed.
“The one-day shoot was canceled due to Baba Siddiqui’s untimely death. It was supposed to happen at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai. After internal conversations, Rohit and Ajay decided that asking Salman Khan to shoot in the midst of all the uproar would be disrespectful. The two chose to submit the movie without Salman Khan since they were pressed for time to get it approved by the censors, a source told Bollywood Hungama.
The insider went on to say that there might be a backshot of Chulbul Pandey in the post-credit scene, however it’s unclear if that concept made it into the final frame. “It was insensitive to shoot with Salman only a day or two after Baba Siddiqui passed away. Additionally, Rohit was required to turn in Singhagain to the censors by Friday, October 18. That’s when they made the difficult decision to move on and respect Salman Khan’s privacy,” the person continued. For those who don’t know, Salman Khan had decided to make a brief appearance in Singh Returns since he adores Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. Nevertheless, events changed drastically, and the filming schedule was subsequently canceled.
It will be interesting to see on the big screen on Diwali whether or not we now get a backshot of Chulbul Pandey.
