The 70th National Film Awards winners were announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB). The event occurred on Friday at the National Media Centre in New Delhi. This is to glorify feature and non-feature Films and certified by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022. The Chairperson of this year’s jury is Rahul Rawail for Feature Films. For non-feature film Nila Madhab panda was there. For Best Writing in Cinema, we had Gangadhar Mudalair. This highlighted remarkable skills and cinematic achievements. Actors such as Nithya Menen, Neena Gupta and Manasi Parekh received their first National Awards. Rishab Shetty the Kannada star won the best actor award. He received the award for the mega-hit film Kantara. Meanwhile, Nithya Menon got the best actress award for the movie Tiruchitrabalam. The best film award was the Malayalam language film Aattam.
