The makers of the upcoming war drama 120 Bahadur have revealed the release date for the highly hoped film, starring Farhan Akhtar. Set to hit theaters on November 21, 2025, 120 Bahadur is a tribute to Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought bravely in the 1962 Indo-China war.
The film, directed by Razneesh Ghai, draws inspiration from the heroic Battle of Rezang La. Farhan Akhtar will portray Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, showcasing his courage and leadership during the battle. The movie promises to deliver a powerful narrative with stunning visuals that capture the intensity and heroism of the soldiers.
Earlier, Farhan Akhtar shared a poster from the film, featuring his character covered in blood, holding a weapon amid a fierce battle. In his post, he wrote, “It’s been 62 years since 1962. Today, we honour the unparalleled courage and sacrifice of the heroes of Rezang La. 120 Bahadur is our tribute to the valour and the unbreakable spirit of Major Shaitan Singh and his men, who stood their ground against overwhelming odds. Their story lives on, reminding us of the price of freedom and the power of unity, with a special salute to the Ahir community, whose sons showed extraordinary bravery in defending our nation.” The film is expected to pay a heartfelt tribute to the bravery of those who fought in one of India’s most defining battles.
