Namit Malhotra revealed the much-expected masterpiece, Ramayana, which is helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, on Wednesday. Namit also disclosed on Instagram that the movie will be released in two parts. Part Two of Ramayana will be released in 2027, while Part One will be released in theaters in 2026. The poster, which features an arrow against a blazing sky, was released by Namit Malhotra. “More than ten years ago, I embarked on a noble quest to bring this epic that has ruled billions of hearts for over 5000 years to the big screen,” he wrote as the description for the photo he shared. And I’m ecstatic to see it coming to life today as our teams put in endless effort with the sole goal of giving the world the most genuine, revered, and aesthetically beautiful representation of our history, truth, and culture—our RAMAYANA.”
Additionally, he said, “Come along with us as we proudly and reverently realize our dream of making our greatest epic come to reality.Diwali 2026 Part 1 and Diwali 2027 Part 2. From the whole Ramayana family (emojis of folded hands and lamps). One fan commented, “The most awaited Magnum Opus—so excited!” in response to the post. “So excited.” was one response. “Best wishes to you @iamnamitmalhotra and your team,” an Instagram user wrote. I’m wishing you all great success. It was written, “Super-duper excited.”
According to sources, Sai Pallavi will play Sita in the Ramayana, while Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram. It has been revealed by Yash that he will play Ravana in the movie. Sheeba Chaddha will play Manthara, Sunny Deol will play Hanuman, and Lara Dutta will play Kaikeyi. Earlier this year, an image of Ranbir and Sai dressed in costumes that was leaked from the movie’s set went viral on social media.
Yash recently discussed his involvement in an interview with Prime Focus and DNEG’s Namit Malhotra. If the character is handled like a character, Yash had stated, “The movie won’t happen if this doesn’t happen today.” You need those actors to get together and collaborate on the project if you want to make a movie with that kind of money. It must transcend both your fame and yourself. The project and the concept must come first.
