According to Ranbir Kapoor, his popular movie Animal will be a three-part franchise. He recently gave Deadline an interesting update on the sequel, Animal Park, during the Red Sea Film Festival. According to Ranbir, the crew is already working on the script for the second animated film, and production is anticipated to begin in 2027.
“We should start that film in 2027,” he stated in reference to the project. It’s still a ways off. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director, merely hinted at his intentions for the film. He hopes it will be more than three parts. The name of the second section is Animal Park. Since the first movie, we have been exchanging ideas about how we want to continue this story. I get to play both the antagonist and the protagonist, which is really thrilling. The director is incredibly creative, and the project is incredibly exciting. I can’t wait to take part in it.
Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor feature in the December 2023 film Animal. The movie centers on Vijay (Ranbir), an anti-hero who would stop at nothing to defend his father, even if it means using a machine gun to murder 200 people. He still has to win over his emotionally distant father, played by Anil Kapoor, in spite of his acts. Even though Animal made over Rs 900 crores at the box office, film was criticized by many for being poisonous and misogynistic.
Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayana, in which Ranbir Kapoor co-stars with Sai Pallavi, just wrapped up production. Ranbir also has Love and War, which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in which he will co-star with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
