The famous Punjabi sensation Karan Aujla is known for his recent hit song ‘Tauba Tauba’, part of an unexpected and shocking incident that took place during his live performance in the O2 Arena in London. During his performance, one of the audience members threw a shoe at the singer. The concert got disrupted, and reactions blew up on social media.
The incident went viral in a video showing Aujla stopping his performance and addressing the situation head-on. A visibly distressed Aujla was seen picking up the shoe and challenging the perpetrator. He said, “Hold on! Who was that? I’m f***ing telling you to come up on the stage. Let’s do one-to-one right now. I am not singing that bad that you hit me with shoes. If any one of you has a problem with me, then come directly onto the stage and talk, because I am not saying anything wrong.”
Not fazed by this, Aujla kept his cool and relayed his disappointment, at the same time letting everyone know that he was more than ready to meet the said fellow man-to-man. The singer, currently touring the UK, later took to the stage and delighted fans like a true sportsman.
Social media platforms went abuzz with the incident, their sites filled with fans coming out in support of Aujla and condemning the disrespectful behavior. The person who threw the shoe reportedly was nabbed by the security personnel and escorted out of the stadium.
Karan Aujla’s reaction justifies how sometimes performers face different scenarios on stage and reminds one of respect and decorum during live events. Even in chaos, Aujla’s fans were ready to praise his professionalism and resilience-just as the phrase goes, “the show must go on.”.
