A unique introduction video for the movie was released a year ago, confirming that it would be an AR Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Without an official statement from the producers, rumours regarding the celebrity cast of this musical love story have been circulating ever since. Furthermore, we now know exclusively that Aanand L Rai and Kriti Sanon are in negotiations for Kriti Sanon to play the movie’s major female character.
As Per report by Pinkvilla, Kriti Sanon and Dhanush are reportedly in advanced talks for Tere Ishk Mein, according to people familiar with the situation. After hearing Aanand L Rai narrate the story a few months ago, Kriti Sanon expressed interest in exploring the universe of this action-packed love story. Aside from the plot, the actor has enjoyed the development of her character and how it changes throughout the narrative. A source close to the development said, “She has given a verbal yes to the film in the meeting today, but the paperwork is expected to take place in a fortnight.” The actress met with Aanand L Rai in Andheri today to discuss the movie.
The insider went on to say that the filmmakers are hoping to cast one more actor in the movie in addition to Dhanush and Kriti. Like Abhay Deol in Raanjhanaa, Tere Ishk Mein has the potential to have a powerful character supported by the writers. The insider stated, “The makers are in discussions with several actors for the role, and the same will be locked soon.” It is anticipated that Tere Ishk Mein will begin production in October 2024 and open nationwide in 2025. Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav wrote the screenplay for the movie, which Colour Yellow Productions will produce. In the meantime, Kriti Sanon is getting ready for Do Patti’s premiere.
