Love & War is scheduled to be released on Christmas 2025, as previously reported. It was revealed on Friday that it will debut on the big screen on March 20, 2026. A formal news release was used to announce the change.
The release date now coincides with important holidays, such as Ramadan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa, which bodes well for a strong start.

In January 2024, the movie’s official announcement was made. “We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga ‘Love & War.’ See You At The Movies Christmas 2025,” stated the initial Instagram announcement. The three main actors, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor, all signed it. The movie starring Ranbir will begin filming in the first week of October 2024, according to Pinkvilla. Vicky should be on board by October 10. Alia will start working at the end of December or the beginning of January. The project’s plot is currently under wraps. After Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022, this film is Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia’s second joint venture. Thanks to her role in the movie, Alia was awarded the National Award for Best Actressing.
