Bollywood’s next generation is promised an outing as Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor co-star in the much awaited theatrical release, Loveyapa. The movie is lined up for worldwide release on February 7, 2025. Already stirring up a buzz among viewers and film lovers, Loveyapa will take out the themes of “love, likes, and everything in between,” and promises the fresh, modern romance as it is portrayed in a digital age.
Produced by Phantom Studios in collaboration with AGS Entertainment, Loveyapa is directed by Advait Chandan. The young director Chandan earlier worked on the blockbuster film Laal Singh Chaddha. The fact that his collaboration with Junaid’s father, Aamir Khan, a very popular Bollywood icon, lends additional excitement and expertise to this project, blending seasoned experience with new, exciting talent.
The earlier half of this year saw Phantom Studios drop the thrilling news on social media with, “Ready to experience love in the digital era with Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan? In cinemas worldwide on 7th Feb 2025.” The teaser poster, drenched in all youthful energy, captures just the right vibe for a romantic drama and makes Loveyapa clearly a film tailor-made for today’s viewer.
Junaid Khan, who is the son of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, has been gradually finding his niche in the industry. His debut film Maharaj by Netflix was widely appreciated and applauded for its performance-oriented drama, with Junaid’s performance standing out prominently with Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari, and Shalini Pandey.
Khushi Kapoor is the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and the late legendary actress Sridevi, and she debuted in a colorful coming-of-age ensemble piece called The Archies. The film was helmed by Zoya Akhtar and starred Khushi in a young, vibrant, dynamic role with other superstars like Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan.
With both Junaid and Khushi stepping into Bollywood’s spotlight, Loveyapa promises to be landmark cinema that not only captures the essence of modern romance but also marks the exciting rise of two of the industry’s most promising new talents.
