A report from Bollywood Hungama claims that after ten years of ownership, Manoj Bajpayee sold his opulent home in the affluent Mahalaxmi neighbourhood for Rs 9 crore. According to the report, stamp duty on the purchase was paid in the amount of Rs 54 lakh. An Agreement to Sell was used to record the transaction, and it was recorded in August of this year. The residence where Bajpayee lived was in Minerva, a high-end residential building built by Lokhandwala Kataria Constructions.
In April 2013, the actor from Satya, along with his spouse Shabana Bajpayee, bought the now-sold flat. It had cost the couple Rs 6.4 crore, plus an additional Rs 32 lakh in stamp duty.
