The producer of the No Entry franchise, Boney Kapoor, recently gave an explanation for why the original cast of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan could not be brought back for the sequel.
Fans have been unable to remain composed since the announcement of the sequel to No Entry, one of the most popular comedies of the early 2000s. However, when new performers took the place of the original cast, which included Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, and Esha Deol, numerous fans were dissatisfied. Boney Kapoor has revealed that it occurred because the original cast members had valid reasons for not participating. Additionally, he disclosed that the publication of No Entry 2 is scheduled for Diwali 2025.
In a recent interview, Boney Kapoor talked about the eagerly awaited follow-up to the 2005 comedy movie No Entry with News 18 Showsha. “I waited long enough, but everybody had their own reasons, and I respect those reasons,” the film producer said to a number of fans who wanted to know why the original cast of the movie wasn’t included in the sequel. Thus, it is now in new packaging.
He also reassured fans that the eagerly awaited sequel has a lot of potential and will live up to the hype. Furthermore, according to Kapoor, many who have heard the subject say it has all the proper components and is even better than the first No Entry movie.
Boney Kapoor also stated that filming on No Entry 2 will start in June or July 2025. Additionally, they have set the movie’s release date for October 26, 2025, which falls during the joyous Diwali season. He went on to say that considering the movie needs a lot of post-production work, he hopes they can fulfill the deadlines.
A close insider previously revealed in an exclusive Pinkvilla story from August that “No Entry 2 has a strong ensemble cast with seven female actors, even though Varun, Arjun, and Diljit feature in a double role, ensuring twice the fun.“
The actor-producer is optimistic that No Entry 2 will provide a new interpretation of the beloved franchise. The new cast of the film will include Arjun Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee, although the female leads are still unknown.
