Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to share the screen for the first time in Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming film Param Sundari. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the movie promises to be a captivating cross-cultural love story set against the picturesque backwaters of Kerala. Slated for release on July 25, 2025, the film will explore the magical collision of two very different worlds: North India and South India.
First Look and Motion Posters Unveiled
The much-awaited excitement for Param Sundari was finally set this week when the first look posters of Sidharth and Janhvi were released. In the motion poster, Sidharth has been seen looking extremely charming in a casual setup while Janhvi can be seen looking stunning in an ethnic outfit. Later on, the couple can be seen twinning in a traditional South Indian outfit where Sidharth can be seen romantically carrying Janhvi in his arms.
The official Instagram post from Maddock Films teased the audience with the caption: “North ka swag, South ki grace – two worlds collide and sparks fly.” The makers introduced the characters of Param (Sidharth) and Sundari (Janhvi) with these striking visuals, offering fans a glimpse of the film’s dynamic love story.
A Love Story Across Cultures
The story of Param Sundari is a collision of two different cultures, wherein one “North ka munda”(Sidharth) would meet a “South ki Sundari” (Janhvi). Their different background leading to a thrilling romance seems to promise both cultural clashes and deep connections.
A Successful Year for Dinesh Vijan
Producer Dinesh Vijan is riding high after the success of Stree 2, which garnered attention for its gripping storyline and star-studded cast, including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film, directed by Amar Kaushik, was a massive hit with fans and critics alike, particularly for its surprise cameos from Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar.
Sidharth and Janhvi’s Recent Work
Janhvi Kapoor has been less prominent at work this year; last seen, she appeared in much-talked-about Devara: Part 1 where, again for her Telugu debut, she acted alongside NTR Jr. and Saif Ali Khan. Otherwise, there have been Mr. and Mrs. Mahi and Ulajh also, from her plate, which are two others to come this year. In this case, though Sidharth Malhotra featured in Yodha as the most prominent hero with high action.
