The 70th anniversary of the National Film Awards saw a star-studded event take place in Delhi. Ayan Mukerji, the director of Brahmastra, and producer and director Karan Johar were among the distinguished guests.The movie won a slew of important awards at the National Film Awards.
The movie received two awards: the Best VFX Film Award and the Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic). In a modest move, Johar acknowledged Mukerji’s imaginative direction and unwavering work ethic for the film’s technical prowess. He conveyed his appreciation for the chance to assist the group and commemorate their accomplishment. He continued, “I’m truly honoured and humbled to be here. Since Ayan Mukerji is the one who created the unique visual effects, I am unable to claim credit for it all. He came up with the idea for this initiative, and all I’m doing is helping my team and being grateful for them.
The participation of a prestigious jury panel added to the significance of the awards presentation. On the cinema juries, Rahul Rawail headed the feature film, Nila Madhab Panda led the non-feature film, and Gangadhar Mudalair led the best literature.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starred in the film Brahmastra, which also included outstanding performances from Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. According to Mukerji’s idea, the movie is the first of a planned trilogy. After the finish of his upcoming project, War 2, staring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, Mukerji is poised to dig into the production of Brahmastra 2.
