After the massive success of Jawan in 2023, Tamil filmmaker Atlee is set to return to Bollywood, though this time in a different role. While Atlee made his Hindi film debut as a director with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which became the biggest hit of the year, he is now producing his upcoming film, Baby John, slated for release on December 25, 2024. The movie stars Varun Dhawan, Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
Atlee is also making headlines with his collaboration with Salman Khan on a highly anticipated action project, tentatively titled A6. The filmmaker has shared that the movie is consuming a significant amount of time and effort, but they are nearly done with the script and will soon begin preparations. He teased an exciting announcement, saying the film will surprise audiences and confirmed that Salman Khan will be a part of it. In a confident statement, Atlee added, “It’s going to be the proudest film of our country. We want your blessings, so please pray for us.”
Earlier reports had suggested that legendary actors Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan could also be part of the action-packed film, adding even more intrigue. Fans are eagerly awaiting the official confirmation and details about the film.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is also busy with Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, starring Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman, is scheduled to release next Eid. With multiple high-profile projects on the horizon, both Atlee and Salman Khan are poised for another year of cinematic success. Fans can expect a lot of excitement from both Baby John and A6 in the coming months.
