DCP Crime Branch Raj Tilak Roshan reportedly stated in Hindi to ANI, “Anil Mehta’s (62) body was discovered. He lived on the sixth level. Our staff is present on the scene and we are carrying out additional investigations. We are looking at everything from every perspective. There are also forensic teams present. A postmortem is being performed on the body. Although it seems like a suicide at first glance, we are still thoroughly investigating.” When she learnt of her father’s passing, Malaika Arora, who was at the time in Pune, reportedly immediately returned to Mumbai.
