Adding to her impressive slate, Ekta has roped in Rahi Anil Barve, the visionary behind Tumbbad, for a high-concept feature film. A self-proclaimed fan of Tumbbad, Ekta was captivated by Barve’s creative prowess and has entrusted him to craft a compelling cinematic experience. The project, currently in the scripting phase, aims to begin production next year. Ekta plans to cast a prominent actor from the younger generation, ensuring the film appeals to a broad audience.
In the horror genre, Ekta is also revisiting her successful Ragini MMS franchise. Rajat Arora has been commissioned to develop Ragini MMS 3, which will feature three stunning female leads. The screenplay is in progress, and production is expected to commence in 2025.
