The first song from Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film Baby John has been released, and it’s a high-energy dance track titled Nain Matakka. The song features Varun showcasing his signature energetic moves, while Keerthy’s charismatic presence elevates the vibrant choreography. Adding to the excitement, the music video includes a special appearance by Diljit Dosanjh. Written by Irshad Kamil, the track is sung by Diljit and Dhee, with music composed by Thaman S.
Ahead of the song’s release, Varun shared a fun promotional video featuring Keerthy and Diljit. The clip shows the trio grooving to the catchy beats of Nain Matakka. Diljit, speaking in Punjabi, playfully says, “Where are you going? Our song is coming tomorrow.” Keerthy adds, “No, but there was an announcement,” and Varun concludes, “We are coming tomorrow, keep cool, see you tomorrow.” The post’s caption read, “NAIN MATTAKA out tomorrow. Baby John, good vibes only.”
Directed by Kalees, Baby John is a remake of the 2016 Tamil action-thriller Theri. Varun plays the role of a determined police officer and devoted single father. The film’s ensemble cast includes Jackie Shroff, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rajpal Yadav in significant roles. Previously, the makers unveiled an intense poster featuring Varun in a rugged look with long hair and a neatly groomed beard, which garnered widespread praise from fans. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Varun wrote, “Good vibes guaranteed with this Baby John Taster Cut, out tomorrow.”
With its release slated for December 25, Baby John promises a mix of action, drama, and entertainment, and fans are eagerly awaiting this Christmas treat.
