Vikrant Massey, riding high on the success of 12th Fail, has plunged into yet another exciting venture. While gearing up for the release of The Sabarmati Express in November, the talented actor has commenced work on Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, a soulful love story marking the big-screen debut of Shanaya Kapoor.
The film, produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla under their Mini Films banner and directed by Santosh Singh, is based on a short story by legendary Indian author Ruskin Bond. Written by Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla, the film aims to revive Bollywood’s lost era of pure romance.
Filming began today, with scenes set to unfold across Mumbai, the hill stations of Mussoorie, and scenic European locations. The music for the film, composed by Vishal Mishra, will feature melodies sung by some of the top voices in the industry, promising a captivating musical experience.
Expressing his excitement about stepping into the role of a romantic lead, Vikrant Massey shared:
