Sanjay Dutt is currently in Amritsar for the shoot of his upcoming film with director Aditya Dhar. Amid the ongoing schedule, Dutt and Dhar took a break to visit the Golden Temple on Tuesday. They were joined by actress Yami Gautam, who also visited the sacred Gurudwara with her husband. The trio took a moment to offer prayers and seek blessings at the revered shrine. Several pictures from the visit surfaced online, showing them praying and posing with fans. In one heartwarming image, Yami can be seen holding her newborn son, Vedavid, wrapped in a cloth, though his face is not visible in the photo.
In addition to the temple visit, Sanjay Dutt had a meeting with Punjab’s Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal earlier that day. Dhaliwal shared pictures from the meeting on social media, featuring the ‘Khalnayak’ star. Yami and Aditya’s visit to the Golden Temple follows a similar visit by Aditya Dhar and actor Ranveer Singh last month. Ranveer shared images from their visit on Instagram, captioning them with the phrase, “Jaako raakhe sayiyaan maar sake na koi.”
Dutt, Dhar, and Singh are currently working together on an upcoming project, which also stars R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande from Jio Studios, alongside Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios. Following the success of their previous collaboration, Article 370, this new project is said to be based on true events from the history of India’s Intelligence Agencies, particularly focusing on the rise of R&AW during its golden era.
